OMP motor series

Danfoss is a world leader within production of low speed hydraulic motors with high torque.  They offer more than 3000 different hydraulic motors, categorised in types, variants and sizes (including different shaft versions).

Danfoss medium-sized orbital motors (OMP series) are light and compact, and therefore easy to install in equipment such as forklift trucks, grass-cutters, winches, fishing vessels and injection moulding machines.

P & R Hydraulics exhibiting at LAMMA 2015

P & R Hydraulics is attending LAMMA 2015.

For those that don't know, LAMMA is the UK's largest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services show. Now in its 34th year, and held in January each year with over 900 exhibitors, LAMMA is free to attend and regularly attracts over 40,000 farmers from around the country and overseas. For anyone seeking ideas on how to make improvements to their agricultural equipment fleet, it's certainly the place to be on 21st to 22nd of January.

We will be co-exhibiting with one of our premium partners, Hy-Pro, in order to showcase their range of hydraulic valve products and our valve maintenance services.

In addition, we will also be promoting the very latest hydraulic motors, pumps and valves from Parker Hannifin, Turolla and Danfoss. With such a wide range of products available, together with our long demonstrable track record of experience, P & R have got the agricultural sector covered!

As well as one of our account management team, our Technical Director, Justin Gill will be there together with Maria Barham-Brown, our Financial Director.

Danfoss Power Solutions course



As an official distributor for Danfoss Power Solutions, P & R Hydraulics has access to resources that include training courses.  Justin Gill and Fred Edwards of P & R Hydraulics recently attended a Danfoss  Power Solutions course titled “Failure Analysis and Repair” at their production plant in Neumunster, Germany.  The five day course was for technicians who have at least two years experience of repairing/servicing Danfoss Power Solutions products. 

The following products were covered:-

·         S90 Pumps and Motors, S51, H1 Pumps and Motors

·         S45 (open circuit pumps)

·         Steering

·         Large, medium and small orbital motor product lines

·         PVG16, PVG32, PVG100 and PVG120

Both Justin and Fred have gained vast knowledge of Danfoss Power Solutions hydraulic products over the years, but felt the course served as a good refresher and was worthwhile attending.   They also found it very informative talking to the other delegates and sharing experiences.

P & R Hydraulics has an in-house workshop and test rig which enables us to repair, inspect and test hydraulic pumps, motors and valves.   New products can be supplied if the original unit is unrepairable.  For more information on our repair service please contact us on 01603 424880.

Long Service Award for P & R Hydraulics

P & R Hydraulics has just been sent our Norfolk Chamber of Commerce Long Service Award!

We have been members of Norfolk Chamber of Commerce since 1980, making 2014 our 34th year of membership. Whilst we have seen many changes in that time, we can attest to the consistently high standards of professionalism and advice available from the Chamber.

In 1980 P & R Hydraulics would have been a very different business to that of 2014. We once shared space on the Chamber trade-stand at the Royal Norfolk Show, more years ago than we care to remember.
