LAMMA 2013

We will be at the LAMMA show again in 2013.  The dates are Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th January 2013.  P&R Hydraulics will be in Hall No 1a, Stand No 141.  Please come along and see us, as we look forward to meeting customers new and old, and anyone who would like to talk about hydraulics.

LAMMA is described as the UK's leading farm machinery equipment and services show, and is held each year at the Newark and Notts Showground. It is predominantly for the agricultural and rural industries and has a wide range of products on display. P&R Hydraulics has invested in a Benchmark 320 engraving machine, which produces high quality permanent marking on a wide range of materials from soft plastics to hard metals.


We are using the engraver to put identification details on 8cm name plates to be fitted onto hydraulic pumps and motors.  Not only do the plates give the part and serial numbers but also remind our customers of where they purchased the item.


P&R are hydraulic specialists for sales and repairs.  We hold an extensive stock of high quality hydraulic supplies for sale.  These items are manufactured by the most trusted names in the hydraulics industry today, including Sauer Danfoss, Turolla OCG and Parker Hannifin.  Also we can inspect, repair and test a wide variety of hydraulic pumps, motors and valves.  Our on-site workshop and maintenance facility includes a test rig which allows our experienced team to rapidly diagnose product faults and failures.

LAMMA 2012

P & R Hydraulics Ltd exhibited at the LAMMA 2012 and had a very successful time.    A new display item this year was a hydraulic valve for log splitter and much interest was shown for this.

Sauer Danfoss PVG32 valve built in P&R Hydraulics' workshop, to customer's specifications. The valve was tested on our in-house test rig and the relief valves were set. (The image is of the partly assembled valve.)

Sauer Danfoss mini motors are ideal in industrial applications and for work functions in the mobile sector, e.g. mobile conveyors in harvesting machines.

Principal OML and OMM characteristics are:
- Spool valve integrated with output shaft
- Gearwheel set with fixed rim
- Suitable for long periods of operation at moderate pressure and short periods of operation at high pressure
- High radial and axial bearing capacity.
