Long Service Award for P & R Hydraulics

P & R Hydraulics has just been sent our Norfolk Chamber of Commerce Long Service Award!

We have been members of Norfolk Chamber of Commerce since 1980, making 2014 our 34th year of membership. Whilst we have seen many changes in that time, we can attest to the consistently high standards of professionalism and advice available from the Chamber.

In 1980 P & R Hydraulics would have been a very different business to that of 2014. We once shared space on the Chamber trade-stand at the Royal Norfolk Show, more years ago than we care to remember.

Now, we are a global exporter of hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors and hydraulic valves; are authorised distributors for global engineering brands such as Turolla, Parker Hannifin and Danfoss; and provide products and services into many industrial sectors including agriculture, construction, off-shore, marine, mining and turf-care. The advice the Norfolk Chamber has given us to help drive our expansion and export growth in particular has been nothing short of invaluable.

Other services provided by the Chamber include business networking, “meet the buyer” events and trade shows. If you’re not already a member, maybe you should be?

P & R Hydraulics is an official sales partner for Danfoss (fka Sauer Danfoss) hydraulic products, of which 11084101 (157B4063EX) PVG32 PVEH Actuator 24V is one of our stock products.

This particular PVE module is ATEX certified for use in inflammable environments.  It has a Hirschmann connector and passive fault monitoring. Also available are models with AMP connector and Deutsch connector, passive and active fault monitoring.

PVE = proportional valve electrical actuator. The Danfoss PVE is built on more than 30 years experience of electrical valve control and is the perfect fit for their high performance proportional valves PVG32, PVG100 and PVG120. The philosophy of electrohydraulic actuation, type PVE, is integration of electronics, sensors and actuators into a single unit that interfaces directly to the proportional valve body.

P & R Hydraulics can custom build PVG32, PVG100 and PVG120 valves to customer’s specifications. We also perform repairs, tests and inspections of hydraulic units in our in-house workshop.

Another Year, Another Great Lamma Show

lamma14Despite the weather, Lamma 2014 proved to be another great trade show! With over 900 exhibitor stands from a very wide variety of farm machinery and equipment manufacturers and services providers, P & R Hydraulics were in good company.

Being a specialist agricultural show, exhibitors at Lamma can be certain to reach visitors that understand the significance of the P & R products and the value that P & R as a service provider delivers. So it was great to see so many people from farming orientated businesses that showed specific interest in what we do.

Of great interest to many of the visitors to our stand were the new products from ‘Hydraulic Projects’. We showcased their range of spool valves and diverter valves; beautifully made and available in a number of configurations including 2, 3 and 4 port variants, these valves are rated up to 250 bar max pressure and up to 60 litres/min. Please contact us on 01603 424880

LAMMA 2014



P & R Hydraulics will be at LAMMA 2014

We will be at the LAMMA 2014 show on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd  January 2014.  Our stand will be in Hall 6, numbered 652.  Please come along and see us, as we look forward to meeting customers new and old, and anyone who would like to talk about hydraulics.

LAMMA is described as the UK's leading farm machinery equipment and services show.   It is predominantly for the agricultural and rural industries and has a wide range of products on display.
